Elettronica live e arte visiva, per leggere il presente attraverso la letteratura distopica.

Eric Oder is an Italian multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin. He sculpts sonic narratives through live electronics and visual art: techno pressure, neoclassical lines, elaborate sound processes, polyrhythms and vocally driven melodies, shaped into immersive experiences that challenge perception and provoke thought. His work sits at the crossroads of sound, emotion and technology, and has taken him to Berlin’s landmark venues and to stages usually reserved for ballet, theatre and contemporary art.

He reads the present through dystopian literature. Memory Hole (2022), his debut album, draws on Orwell’s 1984 to ask how truth and history are manipulated; its first single, At War, was written days after the invasion of Ukraine. SOMA, the project he conceived after Huxley’s Brave New World, explores happiness as anaesthesia and technological pacification: born as a multimedia live performance, in 2026 it became the SOMA Exhibition & Festival, two weeks of art, live music and workshops at Kunstfabrik HB55 in Berlin. Music, visual art, painting, literature and ballet merge into imagery where the individual is subject to their own distortion, set against euphoria.

Beyond records, he composes and designs sound for the stage: ballet at Staatsoper Unter den Linden, contemporary circus selected for La Biennale di Venezia, audiovisual installations for Milan Design Week. In Bam Bam’s Boogie he plays keyboards and synths.
