Bam Bam’s Boogie

Bam Bam’s Boogie is a new-age soul and alternative rock band born in Berlin, where vocalist Kiko King (Washington DC) met producer and multi-instrumentalist Jacopo Aluzzi in 2020. Two artists from completely different cultures, countries and musical traditions, colliding on purpose.

Their sound sits at the intersection of vintage rhythm & soul, gospel warmth, and the cold, synthetic architecture of northern European electronic production: what the band themselves call “New Age Soul”. The writing process is spontaneous, almost possessed: Aluzzi’s instrumental structures are interpreted and recorded by King in one uninterrupted creative flow.

The lineup has grown into a trio with the addition of Eric Oder on keyboards and synths, while drummer Sean Beatty (“Giotto Beattz”) remains a close, historic collaborator on stage and in the studio. Their sound has moved from the funk-psychedelic groove of their debut into darker, more industrial territory, always built for the floor and the stage in equal measure.

On stage, Bam Bam’s Boogie deliver powerful, high-energy performances that have already resonated across major European festivals and clubs, from Les Trans Musicales to Berlin’s Urban Spree: a live-first band whose obsessive grooves and breakbeat assault set the pace for the Human Tree Factory.
